I could have made that clearer (and wordier). I considered adding corporate media logos and decided against. I thought a hello from Joe Biden would be sufficient context.
But you raise a legitimate question and one of my concerns- what conversations, online and elsewhere, should we ordinary Democrats pursue. The media has been aggressively pushing the "Democrats divided" frame. This serves the interests of the enemies of democracy in multiple ways. It shifts responsibility for the attacks on democracy away from the people doing it and the people tolerating it. Why is the discussion about what Democrats are or are not doing and not about AMERICANS? Another important effect is it makes Democrats look weak and discourages more people from getting involved. I try to be careful about adding fuel to that fire.
I think Chris Murphy, Gavin Newsome and JB Pritzker are doing a great job and wish more elected Democrats would follow their examples. I also think calling out other Democratic leaders comes with a price tag.
