I'm binge watching Supergirl (the series) ... and is she ever woke!!!
After I went to see Superman, which I didn't really like, I decided to watch Supergirl, which has always intrigued me, starting with the star Melissa Benoist. I'm into the second season and I have to say I love it. But what really surprised me is all the West Wing-type dialogue and the uses, two I think so far, of "Stronger Together" in the show, an obvious point to Hillary Clinton. (Not to mention the woman president, played by Linda Carter, in the episode I'm watching now.)
After the cackling by right-wing media about the new Superman movie going woke, I'm laughing because I don't recall them complaining about Supergirl, which is more way woke than Superman. But then they only whine about what pundits tell them to whine about. (Ha ha ...)
And please, no spoilers in your answers. Appreciate it.
