Are we there yet?

I would posit that we are already in a dictatorship. Sure, there is still some resistance and pushback, but we are there. Trump always admired other dictators and is following their playbook like cult of personality.

I still have hopes that we will recover from it, mainly because Trump is old and sick and won't last forever. Fixing the damage will take a generation. How did we end up there? Trump is already pulling a Kim Yung Un. When is he going to start executing the opposition with cannons?
