Stalin's oppressive mass murdering government fell apart when he had a heart attack and died. It wasn't clear exactly how the hated dictator died though. Could he have lived if they had gotten him a doctor sooner or if someone who cared about him took care of him?
Anyways, the Russian officials hid it from the people until it was clear he was completely dead.

(130,537 posts)Anybody remember that line from SNL's first season? The networks had been covering Franco's declining health for weeks, and after he finally expired, Chevy Chase parodied the coverage on every show for at least a year by announcing that "Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead."
When Satan finally calls Trump home, I hope SNL, in the spirit of its originators, will regularly announce that Donald Trump is still dead. It will be sweet music to my ears.
