Methodology

The SoCal Strategies Virginia Poll of 800 likely voters was conducted from August 31 to September 1 using the Pollfish online panel. The survey was sponsored through a crowdfund promoted by the Virginia Project. Respondents were filtered to include only registered voters currently living in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Respondent Quality

Pollfish utilizes anti-fraud systems to ensure data quality, with an AI-driven algorithm that detects suspicious responses by examining response speed. SoCal Strategies also uses an attention check question in its questionnaire. Respondents who failed this question were removed from the survey.

That 53-41 is with 6 percent undecided. Say it goes 4-2 Spanberger, that's a 14 point win. That's massive.

2. True. Lots of undecided for LG & AD. Virginia tends to be a coattail thing

I think we’ve had a split too 3 once in the last 15-20 years. Usually the Gov candidate brings everyone else along. In Sears case she might drag them down.

Lots of ads during football this weekend. Abbie’s were mostly negative and Sears had a pretty good one with Youngkin making a separate appearance at the end. Abbie’s ads feature Sears holding a AR-15 type weapon at the end. That was her big thing running for a GA seat. Given recent events I actually cringed but I got over it.
