trump is holding forth with his usual nonsense and lies. He just said that without tariffs the US would be a third world country. 
Just a small example of the "enlightening" BS that this WH press corps thinks is so important. And it's so much better than Biden holding fewer press conferences because lies are better than..... what exactly? I'm having trouble following the thread here.
