window in OUR HOUSE??? I have never seen such a thing from professionals. In fact, the ONLY time I have seen things being thrown from an upper level window, or any window, is during a sheriff-supervised one-hour eviction.

(100,133 posts)What got tossed?
I recently read that first the WH (or somebody) admitted something was tossed, but then said it didnt, and finally told a clumsy lie. Or
what?

(12,755 posts)I've seen many old Federal buildings that were being renovated or having maintenance done. Usually when they're cleaning out old stuff like carpeting, ceiling tile, etc. from a second story window a contractor would tend to have opened the window, installed some kind of chute or other system, and have a dumpster below it.

Someone was heaving something out of the opened window, more than once.
It is difficult to determine what was being thrown out the window, but it may be dark colored garbage bags.
The White House responded that it was from a contractor doing normal maintenance, but that sounds like a bunch of shit.
Those windows are likely always closed and locked and sealed.
There was no dumpster under the window...whatever that stuff was landed on the ground.

(34,852 posts)Toss things on the ground and pick them up later. Sometimes it isn't garbage either. Could be plastic sheeting, drop cloths, paint brushes, tools etc.

(2,753 posts)The first is JD may have been taking naps on the sofa in that room. No contractor in the world would want to be carrying those cushions any longer than possible. The second is that Elon may have left some things behind during his happier days there and has refused to return and get it. Trump, like the landlord he is, would not want to simply dispose of them but instead make a big show about it.

(32,009 posts)It might explain why they did not want to take whatever it was out through the house . . . and why they had to wait until he wasnt home to throw it out. Im sure like all toddlers, hes learned to hide the "special treasures" given to him by Putin from the few remaining competent persons in the intelligence agencies who know, like clockwork, theyre probably going to be there.

(34,852 posts)Apparently, it occurred at a bathroom that was being remodeled.
Why? They were being lazy and didn't want to go up and down the steps. Especially if they were going to make multiple trips. By throwing stuff down on the ground, it would all be in one spot. It could have been more than trash. It could have also been supplies, such as drop clothes, paint brushes, small tools etc.
Contractors do this alot. But at the WH? No bueno!
