Not sure if this has been posted on DU yet, but this is starting to go viral. A Samsun Urgent Care clinic in Santa Barbara is now under fire for pictures taken of exam tables and the "bodily fluids" left, such as what happens after a pap smear, and posted on TikTok. Absolutely disgusting. Social media has made this world so much more toxic, and sociopaths like the OP responsible for this TikTok video get to come out of the woodwork.

This clinic was recently acquired by Sutter Health; this incident happened before Sutter Health took over. I actually work for Sutter Health, and I know this would be grounds for immediate dismissal. I hope every person in the pictures is fired if they haven't already been.

(2,076 posts)The owner of the TikTok account that posted this video has closed her account, but not before people were able to capture screenshots of previous content. Some really sickening stuff. This clinic had an "Elf on a Shelf" Christmas tradition where a small elf figure would be moved around to various places in the clinic, like on top of a computer terminal or other innocuous locations. Sort of a "where's waldo" type thing. When it was the turn of the TikTok OP, she decided to put tape around the Elf's neck and hang it from the ceiling. Imagine someone who had lost someone to suicide, or was having suicidal ideations themselves, saw that?
You're so right, social media is making cruelty acceptable.
