Of the EU president but its a far cry from an assassination attempt. No missile was fired or jets scrambled or anything of the sort.

Of course, it was more prevalent during the cold war but its not unheard of that other countries jam stuff just to piss us off and vice-versa, especially when tension is high.

In post #4, you said, as if it were significant, that you couldn't "see any news source for these claims."

You were then supplied a news source for at least one of these claims.

How is the highlighted material in any way related to the argument?

The original post made no claim as to the frequency of such events; merely that it had happened.

The news source provided in response to your demand said that it had, in fact, happened which, as best I can see, is directly responsive to your challenge.

To then say, "Looky here! It's common!!" is, at best, a diversion.

In, of course, my humble opinion.

It's part of communication warfare and unfortunately not uncommon. It's not an attempt to shoot down the planes of these officials.

Is the case in which the jamming information is presented.

It still makes no difference.

The original critique was no new source.

Once a news source was provided, the response was to highlight some supposedly significant information.

Additionally, while "GPS jamming involves deliberately disrupting or blocking signals from an aircraft's satellite-based navigation system" may not be an attempt to shoot down the plane (obvs. it's not), it's not precisely benevolent and life-supporting. Unless, of course, there's no potential threat to life and limb from having an aircraft's navigation system disabled.

You said "these claims." No specification of which.

You got a source for one of the claims.

You responded to that claim. As opposed to saying, "That's not the claim I meant."

And who constantly downplay Vlad’s actions or portray him as a victim of NATO aggression as that poster has done repeatedly in the last few years. Most here disagree.

You should see their views on WW2. Cliff notes: “The US and UK were as fundamentally evil as the Nazis were but they won so that fact is obscured.”
