Pritzker and Newsom and other Blue State leaders need to activate THEIR National Guard because

there's a rumor that possible illegal governmental employees may be coming to their states to do illegal acts.
If they call out thieir guard first to quell any potential problems, there's no need for troops at the federal level to be there also...unless the governors request them.
And their guard has the right to demand identification (and keep the names) from those who may be trouble makers. OK?

Isn't that right?

6. I think it would at least be a good legal argument in federal court.

The National Guard is supposed to be subject to the Governor of the state. If the Governor is already using the Guard, then it would be harder for Trump to over ride that and try to federalize them.

The judge in CA just ruled that Trump violated the law in what he did there, of course that will be appealed again.
