...Trump today:

Trump: Newsom didn't allow the water to come from the pacific northwest. I demanded that to be open. If that were open. You wouldn't have had the fire because all the sprinklers would've worked in the houses.

At event after event, President Trump keeps telling an imaginary story about how he supposedly sent water to Los Angeles this winter. He actually sent that water, pointlessly, from one part of the Central Valley to another part of the Central Valley.

(9,249 posts)Burned out houses have no faucets, so water just flows, which means less water further down the line. Multiply by the number of burned out houses on the water line and there isn't much getting to the hydrant on the corner.
And yes, he only knows a little about big buildings that are required to have sprinklers. He knows zilch about houses.
He ordered the water gates opened in the reservoirs but had no idea where that water would go. He needs adult supervision and no power over anything because he is an imbecile who gets off just giving orders.

(79,257 posts)I am assuming you are asking why no reporters confront the felon on his daily lies, and his supporters lap them up like a hot dog drinking cold water. If I am wrong, please ignore this response.
We have to think of Hans Christian Anderson's folktale -- sometimes mistaken as soley a children's fable -- about The Emperor's New Clothes. For that explains the cowardnice and foolishness that we are witnessing today. It really is that simple.

(2,628 posts)the reporters/journalists worked hard to get to that high a position, they aren't about to do anything that would piss off Trump or the owner of their news corporation and instantaneously ruin their career and lose what they have achieved........
