Hands are a last option for IV treatments.

My daughter (and a whole lot of other people I know) get regular infusions. The only time my daughter has had an infusion in her arm was when there was an IV already inserted there because she was hospitalized and that's where the ER department put the initial IV - so rather than start a second, they used the one that was there.

Her regular infusions (for about 8 years, at least every 3-8 weeks) are in her arm. Same story with other people I know getting infusions.

Not to mention that someone as vain as Trump would not voluntarily allow them to repeatedly bruise his hand when he could easily have the bruise in his arm where his clothing hides it.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
