Epstein and Trump were best friends for years and there were pictures to prove it.

(17,911 posts)which is how they became victims in the first place. Even after all they've been through, some of them are still fairly credulous.

(58,846 posts)I imagine that promise could have factored into a decision to vote for the Lying Loser.
"Would you declassify the Epstein files?" Fox News' Rachel Campos-Duffy asked. Trump responded, "Yeah, yeah, I would."

(58,846 posts)The Lying Loser love-bombed people into following him by validating their worst instincts (racism, LGBTQ+ phobia, ammosexualism, etc) and by claiming to be all AMERICA, f*ck YEAH to appeal to their desire to resurrect the confederacy (an ultimately IMPOTENT episode in US history that didnt last as long as the Beatles, FFS).

(24,435 posts)It got hundreds of thousands of Muslims to vote for the Muslim ban guy in 2024.
It's like the thought process was, "Oh hey, yeah, this guy wants to build concentration camps for Muslims, but that Genocide Joe meme is everywhere, I'm voting for the Concentration camps!"

(6,131 posts)Stated that she voted for tRump in an almost proud way I stopped and actually looked at the TV. I was gobsmacked at her revelation and a bit put off. More than a bit. But knowing how the Trump voters were lured in by his lies, distortions and half truths, I kind of understood why she voted that way. But still ..this may be an issue for some people to accept that he is somehow involved (the full extent we dont know yet) and some of the victims still voted for him. Why would anyone with knowledge that he was even friends with Epstein still vote for him? I think some answers need to be forthcoming from the ones who said they voted for him. Please try to help us understand WHY.
