The key to attacking Trump is to weaken his coalition. That is exactly what the Epstein scandal can and is doing.

But this new series is about his flailing about, trying to take attention away from it.
He is invoking the Streisand Effect (1), which is only moving the "distraction" to center stage and shining a floodlight on it.
