Boston Mayor Wu holds commanding lead over Josh Kraft, Emerson College Poll finds
BOSTON —
New polling of Boston voters finds that incumbent Mayor Michelle Wu holds a 50% lead over challenger Josh Kraft heading into the city's preliminary election for mayor.
Data from the Emerson College Polling finds that 72% of respondents would vote for Wu, up from 43% in a February edition of the poll. Kraft's support fell to 22% from 29% over the same period.
The latest Emerson poll also found that nearly 3 in 4 Boston voters have a favorable view of Wu, while a majority hold an unfavorable view of Kraft.
