Barnum respected his customers. He would not denigrate them.
Experts attribute that to George Hull, the purveyor of the Cardiff Giant hoax.
Barnum tried to buy the "giant" for his museum, but Hull refused.
When Barnum came up with his own fake and it made him more money than the original made Hull, he was supposed to have said that line.
Interesting that he used that after being the one who used a fraud to make money, but he's the one that consensus says said it.
Because it was about Barnum, it later became attributed to him.

The first Oprah appearances were always the two of them, basically talking about commonsense nutrition and exercise. Somewhere along the line Dr. Roizen bailed. I never heard if there was a blow up between the two or if Dr. Roizen spotted warning signs and got out while he could.

vaccine makers, explains his effort as HHS Secretary to cast doubt on established medical research and question scientific data. Kennedy is using the CDC to establish causal links between vaccines and various serious medical conditions. He is also weakening the civil immunity currently shielding vaccine manufacturers from lawsuits by targeting vaccine makers' federal liability protections. This will directly benefit Kennedy's personal injury tort lawyer associates by increasing manufacturer liability for "vaccine injuries."

by any credible scientific data or research. His bullshit about measles vaccines has already led
to the disease being spread and deaths.

“During a 2019 measles outbreak in the Pacific island nation of Samoa, which is located in Oceania rather than Asia, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. visited and discouraged people from taking the measles vaccine. Following his visit, vaccine coverage fell and an outbreak killed 83 people, mostly young children.”

It saves a little of Trump's valuable energy to have another idiot take down "we-the-people's" reliable institutions. It isn't ignoring the American Medical Association, etc. that is the goal. The goal is bringing them down via takeover and domination of their control followed by firing of anyone disagreeing with Project 2025, Trump, Oz, (whatever and whoever) and replacing them with loyalists to the Authoritarian Regime. (To which Venzuela was just targeted for annexation after Greenland and Gaza.)
