7. I had 3 separate 6-month contract assignments at Apple during the Scully years

Morale was in...the...BASEMENT. No one can EVER over-state what the return of Steve Jobs did to prevent Apple from swirling down the commode. Things were OK on assignment #1. By the end of assignment #3, I sat in a meeting in which a VP said Apple had tapped out every bank they dealt with, and there was a real chance of going under.

Then it all changed. I was long gone by then. Apple never meant to me what it did to a lot of their full-time employees, but I never thought it would become a kneeling and groveling monument to Trump.
