We can't and shouldn't go back to normal - so what's the plan?

Trying to just write these thoughts down.

I despair that so much strategy seems to be about winning the midterms and the next election. Fascism does not cede power without being forced. We’ve already seen at least 2 instances of them just claiming they won no matter what the vote tally was. There is no reason to think that election results will be enforced unless they favor the fascists.

I despair that so much strategy seems to be hoping that once an election or natural causes remove Trump, that we can get back to normal. Folks, the American system of government just failed in front of our faces. The checks and balances don’t work. The electoral college doesn’t work. The judiciary has transformed into a stalling tactic with corruption at the very top. A roadmap was laid bare in 2016 for how a competent authoritarian could exploit the system, and we’re still perversely blessed with an incompetent one. We cannot settle for going back to that system. It has been proven ineffective.

We must accept that the only path to a bright future involves building something different, something new. It cannot be reversion to a system that failed so many for so long that the populace voted for a wrecking ball. Any wrecking ball. THAT wrecking ball. Indeed, the path to bringing the MAGAs back toward the light involves embracing the wrecking ball, tearing down what has been failing, and rebuilding.

There is no going back. The America we remember has ended. What we build next is the actual mission.

WHERE ARE THE IDEAS? WHERE ARE THE STRATEGIES? Why aren’t we talking about this?

Because right now the only revolutionaries on the field are the ones who have called it “revolution” since 1980, and they are building a fascist state to replace the old one. WE MUST PRESENT AN ALTERNATIVE.

1. Example: join the ICC, turn Trump & his minions & everyone who "just followed orders" over.

Let the ICC prosecute them without interference, and with full cooperation in providing evidence in the US's possession.

2. make meditation classes mandatory

for all school type settings, public, private, home school and have it go from K-12. This will produce a generation of thinking feeling people.

3. Prepare for catastrophic climate change. That's what I'm doing.
