Stephen Miller and the Gestapo

- Stephen Miller, as Trump's homeland security advisor, announced plans to close the Department of Education and redirect funding to states, ensuring it is not used to promote what he labels as "communist ideology," reflecting a broader effort to reshape educational content and funding mechanisms.
- This policy shift is part of a larger strategy to combat what Miller describes as a "cancerous communist woke culture," aiming to instill patriotism and traditional values in schools, amidst a backdrop of controversial immigration policies he has influenced, including family separations and the Muslim travel ban.
- The announcement coincides with a period of significant executive action under Trump, with over two dozen orders issued recently, reversing Biden-era policies and potentially impacting higher education by aligning it more closely with conservative ideologies, as part of a broader cultural and political realignment.

The target audience is 50 years old and above, and we were all told about the horrors of communism.

The younger generations, however, have come to understand that socialism and communism are two completely different things, neither one of which are to be feared to the extent that those in charge would have us believe

The powers that be on the politically conservative end of the spectrum have known since the days of FDR that their ideology is not popular with the masses, particularly if the masses are well educated

The “traditional values” that they’re referring to is just a euphemism for strict protestant work ethic, not questioning authority, religious indoctrination, and an absolute devotion to capitalism, God and country, in that order.

Stephen Miller’s fever dream is an America that looks like the streets of Beaver and Wally Cleaver, the Brady Bunch, and every other television show from the 60s 70s and 80s that you saw that didn’t have a person of color within 20 miles

When the trials start and the executions begin, Stephen Miller should be among the first to hang

You’ve got to be taught to hate and fear,
You’ve got to be taught from year to year,
It’s got to be drummed in your dear little ear—
You’ve got to be carefully taught!

You’ve got to be taught to be afraid
Of people whose eyes are oddly made,
And people whose skin is a different shade—
You’ve got to be carefully taught.

You’ve got to be taught before it’s too late,
Before you are six or seven or eight,
To hate all the people your relatives hate—
You’ve got to be carefully taught!
You’ve got to be carefully taught!
