3. Strangely, I didn't win either.

As I drove to the store to pick up a ticket (and some anchovies for my luv), I was thinking about how little your odds change by buying a ticket. After that first ticket, the odds of winning don't change much.

At least the anchovies won me some points.

5. Wow! The most I've ever won was about $200 back in the 90's on a scratcher.

The store clerk was shocked. "Oh. You actually won some money here."

$500 is very good!
