It's a web site the purports to present news from many sources. I'm a little suspicious as it seems to rate the Washington Times as more left than right. I'd never heard of it until today.
Correction: It identifies the Times as right leaning.

I think I've looked at it a couple of times, but not regularly. They seem to be fairly frequent advertisers on some podcasts & Youtube videos I've listened to or watched.
They might be a worthwhile addition to my newsfeed. I do like that they use those other sources when evaluating bias. I use them, myself.

(15,537 posts)Yesterday, when looking at it for the first time, there was a graphic in the upper right corner, about 2 x 3 inches. Displays for the Guardian, the BBC and the Washington times scrolled from left to right. At the bottom of each display was a bar with percentages for blue, white and red. Apparently the bias of some sort for each of those outlets. One of the colors of the bar got higher for the current outlet. So, when the BBC was showing, (don't remember exact figures), the blue section was, 33%, the white 40% and the red 27%. And the white (let's say) got taller than the other two.
My question is, how can I see that graphic again? I can't find it.

(17,147 posts)I've played around with it for a few minutes, but I'm not seeing the box you describe on the upper right. There is a box on the upper right of the page that shows various media outlets when you select "Donald Trump" and maybe some other topics, but it doesn't really match the description of what you saw.
Sorry.

(15,537 posts)I beat up ChatGPT to see if it could help. It ended up speculating that it was a marketing graphic, visible only to people who were visiting for the first time. Sounds like it must be something like that.

(15,537 posts)The site's thing is to be clear about the POV of the news source. Of particular interest to me is the BlindSpot feature where they show what stories are grossly underreported both on the left and on the right.

(12,597 posts)In fact, they offer a 40% subscription reduction to anyone interested. The appeal is be able to discern what 'news' is slanted to what political angle/bias.
I haven't looked into it myself but the guys at Meidas seem to feel it's an invaluable source to filter out the noise and never-ending propaganda.
If you're a news junkie, it might be worth checking out.
