QAnon loves to be shocking so I think they targeted Hanks because hes generally seen as a nice guy. An everyday guy who happened to become a star. It might something to do with a 1985 movie he starred in called The Man with One Red Shoe. A fun man taken out of his element movie. Red shoes were a big part of the Q lore at one time.

Rather than demonstrating abject cowardly fealty to a draft-dodging golf cheat who thinks America's veterans and service members are "suckers and losers."
Where is their courage to stand up for the Constitution and for respecting differences of opinion? If not, not fit for duty.
