The lies have always worked in the past. Sometimes they just needed a little more time to ferment but eventually the Republicans would accept the new reality. Nobody thought he could escape accountability for his incitement of an attack on our Capitol and a dastardly attempt to overturn an election. How could he survive an attempted coup?

But he did. For whatever reasons, his magical lies permitted his escape. No one dared to be so bold or crazy as to challenge his lies. How do you respond to insanity?

But, these magical lies and cover-up of the Epstein sex-ring participants may not work this time? His MAGA supporters were obsessed with getting the names of the international child sex-ring leaders and they were promised by Trump himself that he would release all the names. Then, he didn't.

The odds are that he has had every file, with his name in them, delivered to him in the White House and he has destroyed every one of them. Why would he not?

The cover-up will continue and the Republicans will have to live with the political consequences. The cover-up is less damaging than the information that is to be hidden forever.
