United States Senator from Missouri says America only for whites

Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt did not use the exact phrase "America Whiteland," but he has received significant criticism for a recent speech that many observers interpreted as promoting white nationalism.
Details of the controversy
The speech: On September 3, 2025, Schmitt delivered a speech at the National Conservatism conference where he described America as a "homeland" inherited from "ancestors," belonging to "us".
Omission of non-white people: In his remarks, Schmitt did not include non-white people in his definition of true Americans and failed to mention the country's diverse history. He focused exclusively on his German forebears and praised the European heritage of others, which many took as an explicit and exclusionary message.

Because of what happened in 2016 that you’ve all heard me say over and over and over, we are now looking at the possibility in the very near future of all non-white people being slaves.

Some of us started yelling about this eight years ago.
Go ahead, tell me it’s not possible.

Alongside Russian soldiers to invade Europe, and someone actually laughed at me when I said that.

I guarantee someone will similarly do that about my comment about slavery. Some still don’t get it.

Unless we can convince MAGA that they must stop their support of this piece of shit and the other pieces of shit, then they will never be forced politically to leave power and eventually there will be no voting and the laws will only be there to be used against us.

somewhat different from us. This is disgusting and this POS Schmitt does NOT represent the views of the majority of Missourians.

POS needs to be thrown out of office and replaced w/ someone who's decent, kind, and caring. In other words, what literally 80-90% of Missourians are truly like.

The taint this POS leaves stinks to high heaven.

And identify as Republicans will simply ignore this so they can continue to vote for the hate.

I think we’ve lost them forever. Oh and I don’t mean just your state at all, all states. Red and blue.

There was a time in the not too distant past, pre Trump, that this would’ve ended his career. Now, I assume he will double down or attack people “interpretation of what he said” and will end up getting re elected
