No one seems to be talking about the 3 MO State reps

Who've slept on the House floor all weekend to protest the redistricting special session.
VP Harris even called them over the weekend in support yet no MSM seems to have picked it up.

Edited to add link to Instagram post with the recording of the call by Harris.

Mark Alford might have screwed himself. Quentin Lucas said the other day if it passed he'd be part of the Fourth and he will run against Alford.

Just protect the Fifth along with take the Fourth and we will win a seat, lol.

... that managing editors, regardless of their own position on such matters, are forced to put corporate interests ahead of truth and common human decency. I'm old enough to remember when news departments were not part of the revenue stream, but a social obligation to their readers, listeners, and viewers. Enter the corporatist version of Snidely Whiplash. Better tailor, no mustache, hat, or cape, but every bit as vile and unscrupulous. And that's putting mildly.
I periodically find it necessary to remind people that "Corporatism" is what Benito Mussolini preferred to call his form of government. Again, corporatism 2.0 has better tailors, but...

this is what we have to deal with.

Last year, Soros actually bought majority ownership of Audacy (with 200+ radio stations and streaming/podasts), and created a non-profit entity to run it. RW loon heads exploded as they tried to block it but failed. I think his son will be running that.

The ENTIRE MEDIA in the U.S. is 95+% owned/operated by the UBER rich Republicans and their Republican controlled Corporations.

Just like the Republican U.S. Senate and Republican House members, they are almost behind everything the Republican Party and Trump does......

Their staff of so-called "journalists" won't EVER report on anything that would upset their boss, or they know the next day they will be fired.....
And they know if they write a flattery piece about Trump, they might even get promoted !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hell, even MSNBC allows Rachel and others, only because they make MSNBC a TON OF MONEY, and that money is more important than the Republicans................No right wing Program would make MSNBC a tenth of that amount of ad money in the same time slot.......Almost all of MSNBC's other regular programming leans to the right, if you watch it, and are paying attention................

Ray Reed,Elizabeth Fuchs and Jeremy Dean.

MO GOP is currently on a special session authorized by Gov Kehoe to redistrict Congressional districts, which is against the MO Constitution. They plan on dividing up KC to eliminate Emmanuel Cleaver's seat. Three state reps have been involved in a sit in for several days now.

MO GOP is also trying to eliminate the Ballot Initiative process.
