Because when we get back in power, we need six of them gone. They just eviscerated the Fourth Amendment.

(8,820 posts)Same requirements as for a president. So we might be able to impeach since its only a majority vote in the house.
In order to convict however, we would need 67 votes ( 2/3) in the senate. Needless to say we won't have anywhere near that number in the senate.

Even with Trump gone, even with Democrats in control of Congress, well be stuck with a Supreme Court dominated by blind partisan conservative ideologues.

(7,037 posts)The process was undertaken once (early 19th century) in that Senate voted to impeach, while House acquitted. Far too many times in the past ten years, I've said "that will never happen" and it did. So I think I'll avoid it in this instance...
