I heard on the radio this afternoon that a CBS poll found

that 61% of the country does not want the National Guard sent to their city, which, to me, begs the question: who the hell are the 39% that are okay with it?

I may be off on the exact percentage, but it was over 60% don't want them.

A side note: when has the Republican party ever paid the slightest bit of attention to what the country wants? They do whatever they (or their corporate masters) want.
