He's an excellent speaker and seems to really connect with the crowd. He reminds me a bit of Jimmy Carter.

We can use more young people in Congress.

He is a little too "churchy" for me. I'm wary but I'll keep an eye on him.

In August 2022, while a member of the Texas House of Representatives, Talarico began pursuing a Master of Divinity at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary.[12]

Talarico is a "deeply religious" Christian and was raised Presbyterian.[3][12] He is active in St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Austin.[46]
...
In July of 2025, Talarico appeared on the Joe Rogan Experience, where he discussed the influence of faith on his political career.[50]

At the end of the interview she asked about thoughts and prayers & Minnesota shooting considering his Christian background. He said something like: that’s all good but why blame (or expect) God to fix it. He has given us all the tools to fix the problem. It was one of the best responses I’ve heard on guns.
Seeing the interview is worth it.

I believe our best chance is if, somehow, Paxton is able to beat him in the primaries.

Beating that vile shithead in the general election would be an easier ask of Talarico or Allred.

I think Talarico is more of what we need right now.

Allred already lost once, and that's not a good thing in Texas.
