Why Doesn't the U.S. Have a Nuclear Weapons Treaty With China?

The United States does not have a nuclear arms control treaty with China. Anybody bothered by this? Anybody at all?

Note:
The U.S. and China do not have a bilateral nuclear arms control treaty. Still, they are both legally bound by the Outer Space Treaty (1967) not to deploy or test nuclear weapons in space.

The US has 3700 warheads. China has 600. The disparity is too large. China has zero reason to limit itself and reduce their numbers lower when they already possess far fewer warheads then the US. And the US has zero reasons to reduce its stockpiles to anywhere near what China possesses when the Russians still have 4300 warheads. Historically, China has never possessed more then what it does now. The US and the Soviet Union, on the other hand, had over 70,000 warheads between them at peak.
