Clearly he is dead. I don't think there is any chance anybody faked that.

Certainly dictators have had supporters assassinated to create martyrs. While I don't there is any line Trump would not cross, it seems that even Trump's feeble mind should be able to understand that Kirk was more good to Trump Dead than alive. So if Trump was looking to create a martyr, there are many others who would be more expendable.

We have no idea what motivated the shooter. It could be a person who despaired of the loss of our democracy and felt this was the only way to make a difference, like Luigi Mangione. It could have been a crazy RWer just looking for a moment of fame. It could have been somebody from one of the many groups Kirk whipped up hate against. It could just be a Christian extremist looking to bring on the end times. It could be one of Putin's agents just trying to further disrupt our society. Or 100 other possibilities.

What we know for sure is that Fox wasted no time at all going on the air with how this was the lefties at war with those patriotic, noble MAGA people. We should wait for some facts.
