I think Trump and Right Wing echo chamber are now SO invested in the "far left lunatic" storyline
That if it turns out that the shooter is decisively NOT one, we the public are never going to hear that news.
And I think there is ZERO chance that this person will be apprehended alive. He will either take his own life, or "take his own life", or he will gunned down by LEO/Feds. Dead men tell no tales, as they say.
And I predict that this will be the tell: "We are not going to release the identity of the shooter because of National Security. If we tell the public who this person is/was, then the radical left lunatics will rally around his cause and commit more atrocities, so we can't say. But trust us, he WAS a radical left lunatic, obviously!"
If that happens, then you will KNOW that the shooter was not, in fact, any such thing.
