3. I'm tempted to leave my flag at half staff

in honor of shooting victims. Happens every day, so it’s never inappropriate. Should a day pass without a recorded instance of gun fatality, I could post a sign that says, ‘THIS COUNTRY HAS GONE x DAYS WITHOUT A GUN -RELATED DEATH’. Don’t think that sign will get used very often - if at all.

5. My mother says my brother called her

Then, he told her that it is her fault (and mine, somehow) that he's dead.

Critical thinking is not my brother's strong suit, but he told her she needs to vote for Trump in 2028, to make up for Charlie Kirk...not sure how that works, but again, my brother is a card-carrying RWNJ.

He LOVES that orange gasbag and every other right wing tool out there. He was mad when Glenn Beck went to CNN, because then he was "a lib.

He believes each and every thing the RW talking heads say, he honestly believes that I support the killing of babies after birth because I believe that women should have access to reproductive healthcare.

He's also in a union, he hates it, will trash talk the union all day, but boy howdy he likes the better benefits and pay than at his previous job.

We don't speak unless it is about our mother and then it's only text messages. Short ones.

I can ignore politics with DH's family, because they know not to bring it up when we are there, my brother, not so much.

Left that I guessed were republican but they never talk politics, one guy my hubby used to work for, girl I met in online class, people like that. All of the ones who normally say nothing every single one posted something about Kirk today and I promptly snoozed all of them for 30 days. Last chance they get political again with Trumpy talk will be blocked.

Anyone who honestly liked that guy after all I read about him. Ugh!

Sure we can say no one should be shot but the fact they are way way going over the top for this guy when so many others die all the time and nothing is done or said.
