Van Nuys, Sherman Way & Kester: According to witnesses and testimony from one of the victims, ICE had targeted two vehicles down the street. When they slashed the tires of one vehicle, the occupants of the second vehicle, a recent model Camaro, left the scene. When they saw they were being followed by 3 unmarked vehicles, they pulled into the Mariscos Corona parking lot and were quickly surrounded at gunpoint. Agents broke one of the vehicle's windows and dragged two men to the ground. The female passenger, who is the driver's pregnant girlfriend, yelled repeatedly at the ICE agent attempting to pull her out of the vehicle that she was pregnant and not to touch her. The two men were taken into custody.

23-year-old Cary López Alvarado, who was in her third trimester, claimed that she was shoved by ICE agents in a private parking lot in Hawthorne, California. She revealed that the agents who came in marked U.S. Customs and Border Protection vehicles followed a pickup truck carrying two undocumented workers. One of them was Alvarado’s boyfriend Brian Nájera. The agents followed the truck into a gated parking lot where Alvarado and her cousin Alberto Sandoval were doing some maintenance work.

Alvarado and her cousin blocked the gate, since the property was private. However, the ICE agents then used force to open the gate to arrest the illegal immigrants. The woman claims that three ICE agents grabbed her and placed her in handcuffs. All this while, she was trying to protect her belly and repeatedly kept telling them that she was a US citizen.

“They had us all surrounded,” Alvarado recalled the fateful day. Meanwhile, the bystanders kept yelling to remind ICE agents that she was pregnant. The incident was captured on camera and is now going viral on social media.

The authorities kept her in custody for nearly eight hours. She was released when she complained about sharp stomach pains. She was immediately hospitalized, where the doctors kept her under observation overnight to ensure that she and her baby were safe.

She also recalled that during the encounter with ICE agents, her nationality was questioned. She said, “They told me, ‘OK, your baby is going to be born here, but you’re from Mexico, right?’ And I told them no — I was born here, in Los Angeles.”

Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin with Homeland Security released the following statement, "On September 9, 2025, ICE agents conducted a targeted enforcement operation in Van Nuys, California. This operation resulted in the arrest of two criminal illegal aliens and MS-13 gang members. The first arrest occurred during a vehicle stop. The driver of the vehicle backed his car into law enforcement’s vehicle and fled on foot. ICE still successfully arrested Jose Herazo-Mexicanos, an illegal alien from Guatemala, with a previous conviction for voluntary manslaughter. The driver, Douglas Rodriguez Melgar left his passport in the car. An ICE investigation revealed he was an MS-13 gang member from El Salvador who had been convicted of murder in his home country. A few hour later ICE tracked this gang member down at a shopping center. The criminal illegal alien refused to exit the vehicle. Officers used the minimum amount of force necessary to make the arrest. During the arrest, violent rioters became aggressive towards ICE. Agents called LAPD to help control the crowd."

BULLSHIT! GODDAMN BULLSHIT. ICE NEVER produces ANY evidence of these alleged gang affiliations or charges, and they didn't in this case either.

It's reasonable to assume they're lying about gang affiliations, just as they're lying about the severity and brutality of this encounter, because this has been the go-to excuse for ALL of the men seized, including the ones the courts made them retrieve from the death camp they sent dozens of men to without producing any evidence at all.

American needs to take responsibility for these rednecks terrorizing working people in our communities, especially those who have authorization to be here.

Working men, women, and children are being railroaded by the U.S. government just declaring them to be criminals and denying them ANY legal or administrative hearing they're entitled to under the law to defend against the charges; claiming their accusations amount to an 'emergency' giving them special powers to immediately detain and deport without any discussion.

It's tyranny, and it's just abominably wrong and immoral. These people don't deserve to be treated like criminals; hunted down and assaulted before being jailed on mere accusations made by the government without producing evidence, just because the laws supposedly allow it.

It's an abomination of humanity and law for ANY American subjected to these abuses, but it's an even further one to deny even the modicum of rights and protections, and DIGNITY, for these people in this country just because the government doesn't want them here anymore.

Americans should be humbled and ashamed as they stand by and do little more than just gawk as the government they fund treats these human beings like unwanted trash.
