A couple of months ago I commented that Trump's droopy mouth on the right side made me think mini-stroke.

It is even more pronounced now.

President Donald Trump spoke at the Pentagon for the annual Sept. 11 event, but some of his expressions are prompting questions about his health.

Snip

The Ford News podcast remarked, "During the 9/11 ceremony, Trump was falling asleep. Also while relaxing his face started to droop on one side. This is a significant sign from someone who has recently had a stroke. The man is not medically well."

When he dies I am going to celebrate like its V-E Day, V-J Day, the Tet holiday and New Year's Eve 1999 wrapped in one.

One thing that can trigger Bell's Palsy is a viral infection.

Covid?
Shingles?

It's a viral ailment that temporarily (if you're lucky) disables the facial muscles on one side (usually) of the face. It can be brought on by over-exposure to concentrated cold on the back of your neck. I've had it. It's pretty grotesque-looking for the first few months. It usually clears up after six months, although in some cases, including mine, small bits of it can remain, giving the face a slightly lopsided look. It is not known to affect mental capacity, although I wouldn't know, never having had any to begin with.
