The press conference that was supposed to be happening now was canceled amid what was called rapid developments in the case. It sounds like whatever it is, Patel wants to be one to break the news.

was probably the first FBI press conference in a major case where contradictory info was given at the same conference. Talk about not being on the same page.

5. It could be going either way. Patel could be there to villify some group based on some

characteristic or affiliation of the killer (left, Dem, trans, atheist, etc), or he could be there to obscure or cover up a characteristic or affiliation (MAGA, Groyper, veteran, Christian, etc).

7. @VP Vance went to Utah this morning to pay his respects to Kirk family. I do not know if

he is still there or has left. Seems he has something else going on today but I do not recall the location right now.

9. Vance was actually supposed to be at the 9-11 Memorial

this morning, but canceled that to go to Utah to meet with Kirk's family. Now CNN is saying that Vance considered Kirk not only part of the administration, but part of his family.
