In 1999 we visited New York City and took our kids.

Here is a photo of my oldest son, about 12 here, in his Ohio State jacket looking out at the city skyline. Sorry the quality isn’t too good.

we made a quick trip to the 'hole'. lots of 9/11 crap being sold. prefered trinity church.

Normally I would have passed across the plaza at the WTC above ground walking to my office, but instead I walked east away from the WTC to the site we were looking at. It was brutal as we were looking at a place that was an office for Cantor Fitzgerald whose headquarters was at the top of the WTC. We had to walk from lower manhattan to mid town to catch our trains home.
