I'm sitting here watching a video of a concert being performed by "Donna the Buffalo" (a popular New York State band) from Trumansburg NY on 7/17/25.

I just happened to notice this guy's shirt in the front row, so I took a screen shot of it.

Is he dead yet?

"Dawn of the Buffalo", but the name was misheard by someone as "Donna the Buffalo", and the name stuck.

My dear departed cousin was a DJ at a college radio station, and this was his favorite band. I've been thinking of him a lot lately, so that's why I'm listening to this band.

They have a huge following in New England due, in part, to their yearly participation in the Rhythm 'n Roots Festival in Charlestown, RI, each Labor Day Weekend. In their earlier days when I first learned of them, they would casually play at barn parties and small venues and acquired many friends in the area. They are very well known and loved by RI's active and appreciative bluegrass/cajun fan base.

plays in western New York quite often. They have a dedicated fan base around here. I've seen them several times and I've always had a great time at their shows.
