Let's call Charlie Kirk what he was: a celebrity.
He wasn't a major public figure, deserving of special honors, much less America's highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom. He wasn't even a politician, seeking elected office.
He was a celebrity, making money through his talent for drawing crowds and attracting attention.
