Everything we know about Charlie Kirk 'assassin' Tyler Robinson's parents Matt and Amber

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-15092365/Tyler-Robinson-Matt-Amber-Charlie-Kirk-parents-Utah.html

The parents of Charlie Kirk's suspected assassin Tyler Robinson are a law enforcement veteran and a care worker.

Police sources identified Robinson, a 22-year-old Utah resident, as the main suspect in the assassination of the conservative activist.

Robinson was taken into custody on Thursday night in southern Utah after having allegedly confessed to his father, Matt Robinson.

Matt then contacted authorities and secured his son before he could be taken into custody.

Robinson was a student at Utah State University on a scholarship, insiders confirmed to Daily Mail.

His mother, Amber Robinson, works for Intermountain Support Coordination Services, a company contracted by the state of Utah to help disabled people receive care.

The family's social media show Robinson, who has two younger brothers, enjoying vacations and sharing smiling selfies, including some celebrating the alleged killer getting into college.

He lives in a $600,000 six-bedroom home in Washington, Utah - about 260 miles south of Kirk's assassination in Orem.

One image from Robinson's mother's social media from 2017, shows him wearing a Donald Trump costume for Halloween.

He also posed with guns in his childhood, which included a M2 Browning 50. caliber gun.

Officials have yet to confirm a motive to the assassination. Authorities said at a press conference on Thursday night that Robinson will face the death penalty if convicted.

Trump announced the arrest in an appearance on Fox News, where he said that 'someone very close' to the suspect turned him in.

Bomb threats, etc to dnc and HBCU's , calls for libs to be rounded up and worse, announcing antifa and trans etchings on ammo...

And In the end it's a white kid from affluent, republican, religious/Christian family who posed with guns like Christmas boebert and dressed like trump for Halloween.

They already stirred up the hate and kicked it up a notch and will likely continue even worse despite who the shooter was.

And btw the kid who shot up the school was radicalized by a white supremacy group, which I'm sure also supports trump and his thugs. A 16 year old kid, very sad.

Every day the right does more wrong and harm than one can even grasp. And they get away with it. 42% trump approval with 9/10 repub approval.

Fri Sep 12, 2025, 01:39 PM
Sep 2025

This may not be a popular view, but as the parent of a child who ended his life (at 25), I hear of these mass shooters, and I can't help but feel a big part of this is our toxic world today.

This world has become one where the number of "followers" you have is regarded more highly than simply being a good person who lives a simple life.

My son was an overly empathetic, kind soul who had no armour against this toxicity. He absorbed it all and turned it inward. On the outside, he made people laugh and loved to laugh himself, but on the inside, he felt inadequate, a failure, and a burden to the world. My son turned all the anger in this world inward; some of these mass shooters are turning it outward.

I'm not making excuses for any of the mass shooters, I just feel our current society exacerbates this.

Matt Robinson is a registered Republican, according to public records reviewed by Newsweek. Early reports indicated that he was a veteran of the Washington County Sheriff's Office, but the Washington County Attorney's office said that reporting was not accurate and that Robinson does not have ties to local law enforcement.

"The individual arrested is NOT related to Washington County law enforcement! There are multiple people with the same names," the attorney's office said in a statement posted to Facebook.
