But not just write a Bill, they have to get out and promote it big time. Develop a Democratic Project 2026/2028.

I think it would be a tough sell to shove an assault rifle ban into an act in response to a shooting where an assault rifle was not used.

The kid didn’t even use an assault weapon, but I am saying to ban those as part of any bill. Also, as for being a generic bill, of course the parents in this case are not responsible, but would be in many other cases…usually in school shootings.

Naming it the “Charlie Kirk bill” is obviously just trolling, but reasonable bills should be passed.

...before the Republicans got around to voting against it they would all be "on message" about how the Democrats were exploiting Kirk's death to advance their "agenda". This would be repeated daily by everyone in the MAGAverse and ultimately Republicans would have no reservations about voting against the proposed bill.
