Nothing changes these facts

Charlie Kirk built himself into the face of a conservative youth movement through Turning Point USA (TPUSA). Behind the branding of patriotism and freedom, the record shows a pattern of rhetoric, organizational culture, and alliances that echoed white supremacist and Christian nationalist ideologies. The Southern Poverty Law Center documented how TPUSA repeatedly framed immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, and racial justice advocates as existential threats to white Christian America, warning followers that their families, religion, and entire way of life were under attack. In later years, Kirk openly embraced Christian nationalist language, claiming that liberty was only possible with a Christian populationa narrative tying freedom to demographic dominance, a cornerstone of supremacist logic (SPLC).

And I'm sorry that I'm not sorry about what happened to him.

(297,987 posts)I am your retribution from the guy who fomented a failed coup then pardoned the cop killers and goons threatening to kill the VP.
Apparently you missed the slaughter of democrats in Minnesota and the attempted assassination of Paul Pelosi.
Please tell me where I justified this murder.

I specifically called out the Minnesota shooting.
To assume that I missed those other horrible things just because I said this particular shooting was unjustified is totally illogical.

(2,414 posts)The suspect belongs to another white fascist group. It appears to be a part of the Nick Fuentes group. Democrats and the liberals dont have any say in this fight. They are reaping what they have sown.

(7 posts)So Tyler Robinson went and killed a debater who opened up the floor for to Democratic college students to share their opinions and ideas. So stupid and unnecessary. That's not how you defeat someone like that. You defeat him through debate. Tell him why his ideas are wrong and how things can be improved. You don't shut down the debate. That seems to be the problem these days with younger people. They don't want debate, and anyone who disagrees with them needs to be destroyed. Even before the debate, there were [940 activists (corrected)] who signed a petition to prevent him from speaking.

(2,414 posts)Imagine being gay, trans , black a woman and listening to justification for your marginalization. If it were a debate he would have to be open to changing some of his views, it was nothing more then another republican propaganda session.

(2,414 posts)But it is a publicity stunt with really bad statistics and Gish galloping. He then takes it back to the studio and cleans it up to make it appear he had valid points.
It is a recruitment session. The man was an unrepentant monster, stop trying to clean up his image.
