Did Trump benefit the most from the shooting of Charlie Kirk?

1. A figure in his re-election who was criticizing the lack of transparency on Epstein is now silenced.
2. Trump grabs the national narrative and media acquiesce firing any who dare to question.
3. Trump tries to rally his now sagging base of MAGA.
4. Too many seemingly prepared ahead of the fact vitriol emerge from the usual suspects.

Even here on du, that question has vanished from headlines, by and large. The murder of kirk looks like a RW PR success to me, so far.

They would NOT have picked this shooter as a scapegoat. They would have picked a lefty making loud lefty noises.

As for the pre-packaged vitriol, that's what's in their minds. Every day and every hour.

Trump would have benefitted more if the shooter had actually been what the repukes were hoping he would be. That the guy is a young, white, gun-obsessed cisgender male from a wealthy law enforcement family just gums up the works.

7. We are near the post-Trump era and many are jockeying for position

Kirk was in the Christo-fascist group and strong among young voters of a similar persuasion. He was building a significant power base. This was certainly a threat to other factions that want to ascend in the post-Trump era. This includes Tech Bro billionaires, traditional polluting monopolist billionaires, the real Nazis represented by Miller/Bannon and others, etc.

Many on the right potentially benefit with the elimination of Kirk. I don't see how anybody on the left benefits. There are plenty of Christo-fascists left behind to carry on.
