So far we know the shooter was an online gamer, which seems to be substantiated by the writings on the shells recovered. I am not a gamer but I know that a big time game for those into role playing games is Assassin's Creed Valhalla. So could Patel's mention of Valhalla be some kind of message to the alt-right? Or maybe Patel is descended from Vikings? It is so weird to me that Patel would mention Valhalla that I think it is worth thinking about.

think Christianity with its messages of peace and forgiveness weakened the knees of "real European men" (don't forget Jesus was a Jew). They look back to the Vikings for role models as part of their un-diluted white European heritage. That's part of why they're into Wagner and some of them are neo-Pagans and trying to revive ancient Norse spiritual practices.
The joke's on Kash who wouldn't be welcome in their Valhalla if he single-handedly slaughtered everyone on Earth.

(4,760 posts)Ladder climber.. Kirk isn't going to Valhalla he's going in a 6 ft hole in ground or baked into ashes.
The rest of shit is stand tall to spite the libs. Personally I think this whole episode has become absurd.

I was invested into that crypto before the whole crypto market fell---
Luckily my stake came back right about the time I really needed the money---
think I more or less broke even on it before liquidating the position!
From Google A.I. :
"Crypto Valhalla" can refer to two main concepts: a play-to-earn game called Valhalla developed on the Floki ecosystem, featuring strategic turn-based combat with creatures called Veras, and the symbolic idea of financial freedom that investors and traders aim to reach after surviving the volatility of the cryptocurrency market. There are also cryptocurrency tokens named Valhalla Protocol (VAL) and a Valhalla meme coin, which are distinct from the game and the broader crypto concept.
Valhalla (The Play-to-Earn Game)
Concept:
A Viking-themed, browser-based, turn-based combat game with play-to-earn (P2E) mechanics built by the Floki community.
Gameplay:
Players control "Veras," unique, NFT-owned creatures with different abilities, and battle in PvP (player-vs-player) or PvE (player-vs-environment) scenarios.
Key Features:
Web3 Ownership: Players truly own their in-game assets (Veras) as NFTs.
Strategic Combat: The game emphasizes skill and strategy over reaction time.
Sustainable Economy: Valhalla aims for a sustainable P2E model with a large treasury and balanced mechanics.
Floki Partnership: The game integrates with the Floki ecosystem, with players able to earn Floki tokens on the mainnet.
Valhalla (The Symbolic Concept)
Meaning:
In crypto, "Valhalla" represents the idealized, ultimate goal for investors achieving financial freedom and wealth after navigating the challenging and volatile cryptocurrency markets.
Context:
It's a metaphor for the "promised land" where "diamond hands" (investors who hold their crypto through price drops) finally see their efforts pay off.
Other "Valhalla" Mentions
Valhalla Protocol (VAL): A separate cryptocurrency that operates on the BNB Smart Chain (BEP20).
Valhalla Meme Coin: A meme coin launched on the Ethereum blockchain, inspired by Norse mythology.

And as far as they're concerned, it doesn't hurt that it's about as white-coded as you can get.

2. White supremacist. Because Irish-Americans ID and those not from NW Europe (or from other locals are ignorant) aren't away of their Viking oppressors. And all like London, how could they not like Balti cuisine? You get to define 'justice' if the meal's good.
3. Metaphorical. You're a warrior, so am I, we'll meet again because we are warriors for 'justice.'. Or not. Whatev's.
4. See last week's 4hchan for what I must mean. I'm not sure, but others surely know. Update me when you have a clue, so I have one, too.
I opt for (3). Don't see a South Asian by ancestry opting to 'worship' British 'oppressors'. Or thinking he can jack off towards us and we ooh and aah. Or abiding by 4chan's ambiguous usage.
Otherwise, Led Zeppelin was fascist. Valhalla ... "Valhalla, I am coming."
Effing fascists. I mean, 'overlords' and all that. Paige, obvious Nazi. Plant was a 'plant' by authoritarians. Bonzo ... a Putin's mentor knocked him off.
Peace and trust will win the day despite of all your ruin. There's wisdom in that utterance It's hard, but overcoming foolishness pretty much always is.
