Can our government and institutions survive until the next election?

I do not wish to be too negative but this is a serious question.

At the rate we are going, with crackdowns on free speech and with troops marching in our streets, how much longer can we continue?

We will survive, but under what conditions?

The "truth" no longer matters. For example, "No, that is not his signature." When it is obvious, without question, that it is indeed his signature.

When the corruption has reached a point where the leader of the country is making billions and billions of dollars off the office of the presidency, we are in deep shit.

Just my opinion.

And if there is, it’ll be a “show” election. Votes won’t matter, the outcome is predetermined
