Akin to the Hitler loved his dogs I picked up from my old man. Of course dad would have happily blown his fucking face off. There was a war on and seeing the camps put all that in perspective.

We got sternly corrected at a Restaurant near Munich, when one of the guys asked if they strudel for dessert.
We were told "Strudel is Austrian."
Maybe the waiter was wrong.
