55% of kidnappers
56% of rapists
58% of mass shooters
59% of child porn arrests
62% of statuatory rapists (pedophiles)
63% of prostitution solicitors
68% of 1934 NFA offenders
75% of incest perpetrators

I’ve seen somewhere recently that the percentage of men in the United States that are arrested for violent crimes of any kind in a given year is 00.2%.

When promoting a “crime statistic” about a specific group of people it’s probably wise to point out that most of the individuals in that group are not responsible for these crimes.

….starts with the population of criminals and divides them by race and ethnicity.

What I’m interested in is the total population of a group ( in this case white men ) and the percentage of that group responsible for the criminal activity.

We all know that it’s possible to misuse statistics to promote prejudice. I think we should avoid that.

What is the percentage of white, non-Hispanic women who commit violent crimes?

The first stat indicates that 46% of kidnappings are committed by women, Hispanics or non-whites.

Also women commit 20% or violent crime

And does white men include white, Hispanic? Legally many Hispanics were classified as white as part of the Hidalgo Treaty. That designation carries on, although it's obsolete. Hence, until very recently their race was white. Hubby's is still white, he's not changing his "race" at his age..LOL Crime stats aren't likely based on how one identifies on the US census, but what's on the birth certificate or driver license etc. Hence, my kids are all "white", which was the only applicable race option on their birth certificates.
