Weve all heard for months that Trump has brought gas prices down (which is baloney of course). Pretty soon, though, we are going to reach the point where gas was cheaper last year under Biden.
I check AAA almost every day. Today, the average price per gallon for regular gas in the US is $3.17. One year ago on this date, it was $3.23!

I've seen it as high as $3.899 for 87 octane.
I looked at my price history spreadsheet. On my birthday (about a week away) last year, gas was $3.269. So it's 23 or 24 cents higher than a year ago.
