Gas prices

We’ve all heard for months that Trump has brought gas prices down (which is baloney of course). Pretty soon, though, we are going to reach the point where gas was cheaper last year under Biden.

I check AAA almost every day. Today, the average price per gallon for regular gas in the US is $3.17. One year ago on this date, it was $3.23!

I saw quite a variety of prices from $2.99 to $3.69 all within 1-1/2 mile of one another!

2020 Covid gas has a limited shelf life. The tourist have not come. People don't have money for traveling. They will have to dump it.

In the collar counties of Chicago, it's hard to find gas under $3.50.
I've seen it as high as $3.899 for 87 octane.
I looked at my price history spreadsheet. On my birthday (about a week away) last year, gas was $3.269. So it's 23 or 24 cents higher than a year ago.
