This is an article from THE ECONOMIST of all people.
Might is Right
United States, criminal cases* involving political violence, by ideology
(Can't copy the info on the chart but here's what it means)
black = Left
light grey = Other
dark grey = Islamist
red = Right
It spans from 1990 - 2025.

(4,111 posts)There isn't any "radical left" in the US. If someone can tell me where this "radial left" is, that would be great. I'll join them.

(2,088 posts)like the Proud Boys, Oath Keepers, Neo-Nazis, KKK, etc.
The only Radical Left I've heard of is Antifa, which is absurd because it's ANTI-FASCIST just like our Greatest Generation was, and they aren't a violence-based militia type group.
Anything else is just made-up boogie man crap.
There is essentially no "far left' resistance anymore.
You would immediately be shot or put away for 100 years or at least lose your job if you speak out.
The smart leftists have said "fuck it I'm not giving up my life for shit people that want this trump shit"
And have gone into themselves.

(30,283 posts)When you ask for an example of a Dem gun rampage, they get quiet.
The gaslighting is so fucking ridiculous. Nobody can name a Leftist attacker yet everyone in America knows the names Dylan Roof, Eric Rudolf, etc. ad nauseam.

(2,088 posts)Maybe people should flood this information into the email boxes and phone lines of MSM?

(5,545 posts)and this is on purpose. When terms have hazy meanings the Overton Window is easily shifted. In the 60's "radical left" meant Black Panthers and Symbionese Liberation Army. Today the US reich-wing would have us believe that the "radical left" is anyone who supports a woman's right to choose when to have a baby, supports a livable minimum wage, or supports the immigration that we need to keep our population from declining.
And the bar graph shown looks flaky as hell to me. I'm going to check out the article. The Economist, while a bit right of center doesn't usually reference quackery.
