we're all supposed to beat our chests and do their soul searching for them? This is their shit. It's all "in the family," as they say. An internal squabble in MagaLand.
Nor is there anything new about this. We've known how deluded and violent they can be for ten years now, if not longer. The national question shouldn't be "O what on god's green earth are we going to do about the rise in political violence?" The question is, "What the fuck is this deadly social contagion that has taken over half the country?"
Kirk had talked about staging public executions and making it mandatory for children to watch. Who was he going to condemn? Adam Schiff? Liz Cheney? Jamie Raskin? AOC? The gays? College professors? Can you imagine your 5th grader sitting in his or her classroom forced to watch the video feed? And Brian Kilmeade suggests that we euthanize the homeless population. Apparently, he thinks this is an opportune time to target the most vulnerable population among us for death camps. Are they going to televise that as well in the name of their precious Christianity? Their cross is the new swastika. --- But this is all gutless, spineless big talk. These guys have emasculated themselves. It's all just ugly, empty theatre to make themselves feel important.
Nor am I impressed with MAGA's dipshit social media announcements declaring "THIS IS WAR!" Do these people realize just how pathetic and stupid they sound? It's like a construction foreman hits his own thumb with a hammer and starts threatening all the other guys around him. And what do they think they're going to do anyway? Rally up like the Army of Northern Virginia and march on Baltimore? No, they'll just shoot more school children to prove how big and strong and brave they are. But we already knew they're going to do that.
Nothing has changed. Donald Trump is still the limp yammering deliquescing soulless bleb he was a week ago. He's still underwater on everything. His policies are still driving inflation and undermining the economy and his diaper still stinks. The Epstein Files are still about to be pried from Bondi's cold corrupt Bride-of-Frankenstein hands. The lower courts are still going to mostly rule against him, and SCOTUS will only go so far to back him up. It'll be rough going and a lot of people are going to get hurt, but we will win. There is no other option.
It's time to break the spell. Let the dead bury the dead. We need to start driving the narrative again.

(2,414 posts)We have seen this many times , a young man feeling he is owed something and takes it out on others. He also had gun worshipping parents. The internet Sherlock squad has done quite a bit of digging and Fuentes is a bit uncomfortable. The feds arent going to tell you but Im trusting the sleuths. Back to your cope.

(225 posts)This could not be good....from axios:
Authorities are investigating whether Tyler Robinson, suspected of killing Charlie Kirk, believed Kirk's views on gender identity were "hateful" to people like Robinson's transgender roommate, six sources familiar with the case tell Axios.
Why it matters: Investigators believe Robinson's anger at Kirk's views could be a key to establishing a motive for the slaying of the controversial activist whose death sent shockwaves through American politics.
Each of the six sources familiar with the investigation told Axios that investigators believe Robinson had a romantic relationship with his roommate.
Axios' sources said investigators initially wanted the information about the roommate's gender identity kept quiet because that person is being "extremely cooperative" with authorities.
The roommate was "aghast" at the slaying when speaking to investigators and shared electronic messages sent by Robinson, one of the sources said.
"That's what happened? Oh my God, no," the roommate said, according to the source. "Here are all the messages."
The phone messages indicated a sender listed as "Tyler" had mentioned that after the shooting, he had wrapped his rifle in a towel and stashed it in some bushes near Utah Valley University, where the shooting occurred, Gov. Spencer Cox said Friday during a news conference.
"Tyler" also told the roommate in writing that the rifle would have to be retrieved, Cox said.

(2,414 posts)Fuentes was very worried because lies can swing both ways. I watched the podcast and he was attempting to make peace, if there was a trans relationship he would have said so. I have heard a lot of attempting to distract from right wing madness and murder. Picking on transgender is in the right wing bible , dont let them distract you you.

(1,949 posts)That the shooter was totally motivated by Kirk disrespecting his trans lover is exactly the story the right wants now to absolve themselves of any responsibility and to justify a murderous holy war of righteous revenge on trans people (again), which way too conveniently was exactly what many in the right were pushing before anyone knew anything about the shooter. I smell a right wing conspiracy troll here.

(7,943 posts)Nobody on the left who's killed in a mass murder, or a targeted "hit" is even remembered, much less mourned or honored for their service. Yet we're suppose to laud a man who spoke only of hate and cruelty? No... I don't think so. I have just one line going thru my head since this happened: Live by the sword; die by the sword. charlie kirk got what he always wanted... martyrdom to his cruelty. May his name forever live in infamy.

(10,307 posts)I'm not a fan of the way Charlie Kirk met his demise, but I'm not sorry he's dead. A substantial chunk of America doesn't care either. Mourn for all the school kids killed by maniacs with guns. That is all.

(2,414 posts)The hits as they were called may have been close range but dead men tell no tales. There may have been snipers but history tells us they were shot not whether it was close range or not. If you witnessed anything, you would pretend to be blinded by the sun at night. So the way they were murdered didnt matter. The message was sent and received.
