So Brian Kilmeade of FAUX apologized for advocating killing of the homeless

I won't link to his apology but it's out there. Ron Filipkowski characterized it as weak, and that's all I need to know.

Apparently, Brian was forced to apologize in order to keep his job. But in my opinion, a weak apology is not enough to atone for what were really beyond the pale comments. His words were not just opinions, (unlike Matthew Dowd, who was immediately FIRED), but calls to physically harm human beings.

But he will keep his job, unlike Dowd, of course.

Most homeless people are not murderers and quite a few are veterans.

Not only are most homeless not murderers, they are probably more likely to be victims of crime. Demonizing them is really a horrible thing to do.

Why is it that only maga types get do-overs? Also, there was nothing "wrong" with what Dowd said and he was fired, but Kilmeade was actually advocating a crime.

He definitely committed a firing offense, and I'm no lawyer but it sounded like an illegal threat to me as well.
